Seaside Casual

Our outdoor collection is a balance of traditional design recreated in modern materials. The coastal communities of the eastern seaboard have molded our aesthetic, while material advancements have allowed us to create a product that can withstand the elements. Our products are designed to endure the corrosive seaside air, a New England winter, or an Arizona heat wave. In short, we handcraft furniture that looks great, is easy to maintain, and can be left outdoors from one season to the next.

Material

Screened Room

A screened-in room is an enclosed deck area with screened windows and frames. They typically are attached to your home’s foundation and can be built from scratch or an existing structure like a porch or deck. Their screens are made from a mesh material, which can be anything from fiberglass to stainless steel.

ScreenEze

It all began with the original SCREENEZE® System in 2003. SCREENEZE® came to fruition over the frustration with traditional methods. There had to be a better way than staples and spline. That way was SCREENEZE®. It is a no-spline, self-stretching system that allows for large panels and easy repair. The base secures to the post/column and the cap, when pressed on, secures and stretches the screen fabric.

Universal Screens

We manufacture the finest manual & motorized retractable shading solutions on the market, the Arion Shading System and the Universal MotionScreen. We use only the highest grade materials in the construction on each outdoor retractable shade, and back them up with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions about outdoor living materials.

We have a wide range of options including Natural Gas, Propane, and Wood Pellet Grills.

Yes, The furniture we carry is made of HDPE material that is non-porous and resistant to moisture, fading, insects, splinting, warping and other hazards of environmental exposure common to wood and wood fiber composite products. It is also fastened with Marine Grade stainless steel hardware that is resistant to rust & corrosion.

Yes, the brackets do not interfere with the dry space system. As long as you maintain the clearance specifications of the heaters being used you can heat your outdoor space.

A grill has potential to damage a composite deck in a few ways. Scratching if not moved properly, damage from ashes, debris, grease dripping. Installing a grill mat beneath the barbecue will greatly reduce the chances of ashes, debris or excess grease dripping onto your composite decking and damaging it.

We recommend no less than a 6000w heater in Northern Michigan due to the blistering cold winters. This will allow the heater to keep up during any temperature without running at maximum power.

A deck’s lifespan is affected by a few things. The materials you use, your maintenance of the deck, the weather in your area, and similar factors can all determine how long a deck is going to last. Ballpark estimates generally say that a well-maintained deck can last a few decades. But if you are not properly maintaining the deck or you have adverse weather in your area, your deck may need repairs sooner rather than later.
